About the Author
H. G. Wells (1866-1946) was a professional writer and journalist who published more than a hundred books, including the novels The Time Machine, The Invisible Man, and The War of the Worlds.
Christopher Priest has won many awards for his writing, including the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for Fiction and the Arthur C. Clarke Award.
Andy Sawyer is the librarian of the Science Fiction Foundation Collection at the University of Liverpool Library.
