Editorial Reviews
Review
The authors have certainly identified a gap in the literature . . . Overall, the book is very informative and provides a strong foundation for work in this active research area.

Book Description
This is a specialist book addressed to engineers working in microelectronics, principally. It will also be of interest to semiconductor physics, electrical and electronic engineering research groups from Delft University of Technology, RWTH Aachen, Fraunhofer Stuttgart, TU Munich, Thomson-CSF, IMEC (KU Leuven), Heriot Watt, Southampton, Sheffield, DRA, BT Martlesham Heath, Phillips Redhill, Nottingham, Hewlett Packard Bristol, Universities of Florida Gainesville, Northwestern, Illinois at Urbana Champaign, UCLA, CalTech, Texas at Austin, etc.Silicon and SiGe, its 3x more efficient transistor material relation, are the materials of choice for semiconductor wafer fabrication. Books which address improvements in technology help the user make an informed choice on materials selection (which is why the parameters and simulations are important). I have no plans at present to link to a disk / website hosting the authors' simulations. They are not well known, but are well regarded for their work in simulations.
