About the Author

Spillers is a professor of civil engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, and is a structural engineer with an international reputation in areas of computer applications to structures, design theory, and fabric structures. He is the author of Automated Structural Analysis, Iterative Structural Design, and Basic Questions of Design. He lives in Newark, New Jersey.
